How referral compensation, provider handoffs and independent comparison work on UtilityProviders.
Referral relationship
UtilityProviders may receive compensation when a visitor clicks an eligible provider link, requests a quote, completes an enrollment with a participating provider or otherwise takes a qualifying action.
No added UtilityProviders fee
UtilityProviders does not add a separate fee to the provider's published price simply because a referral relationship exists. Provider pricing, taxes, utility delivery charges and other terms remain subject to the provider's own offer and contract.
No guarantee of acceptance or savings
A referral does not guarantee provider eligibility, enrollment, service availability or savings. Availability depends on ZIP code, utility territory, account status, provider rules and current offer terms.
Independent comparison
Compensation may differ between partners. We aim to keep comparison content useful and clearly identify sponsored or referral relationships where appropriate.
Provider contract controls
If you enroll, the provider's contract and disclosures govern the energy service. Review them carefully before authorizing a switch.
